DDR5 kits: capacity is only the start
Two 32GB DDR5 kits can differ in module count, rated speed, latency and memory-profile support. Compare the full model number rather than capacity alone.
- Module count: 2×16GB and a single 32GB module are different configurations. Check your motherboard manual and intended layout.
- Speed and latency: compare both, rather than treating a lower CL number alone as proof of better performance.
- EXPO and XMP: check the exact kit’s supported profiles and your motherboard documentation. A listed profile does not guarantee every system will run that speed.
- Compatibility: check the motherboard’s supported-memory list and firmware guidance, particularly for larger capacities.
Our filters distinguish capacity and profile tags. Open the exact kit for its manufacturer model and current retailer offers.
